Here at El Matador Martial Arts we offer a range of disciplines 6 days a week, so there is something for everyone. We cater to kids, adults, groups, individuals and even have a women's only program. Muay Thai


Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing; also referred to as the 'Art of Eight Limbs' combines the use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet. It is an effective striking art known for it's tremendous power and raw simplicity. At El Matador we make it fun and easy for all skill sets and fitness levels to learn this martial art in a supportive and welcoming environment. It is effective in self defence and a great all round workout for overall fitness and cardiovascular performance.  Muay Thai encompasses great conditioning for the mind, body and soul all while giving you the confidence needed for real-life self defence situations. One of the biggest misinterpretations of Muay Thai is that it is just a sport of violence, but like most Martial Arts, Muay Thai cultivates important values rich in tradition and has the power to humble, discipline and inspire anyone who practices it. Remember: you don't have to fight to practice Muay Thai here at El Matador Martial Arts.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu


Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling based, ground fighting Martial Art that utilises skill and technique to control and resist one's opponent in ways that force him or her to submit. Under the careful guidance of our BJJ Professor you will learn the necessary techniques to improve your position in ways that help you overcome greater size, strength and aggression by using superior leverage, grip and position. BJJ is rich in mental and physical growth because this Martial Art has a high demand on both. Whether you want to learn a new skill, continue practice or get ready for competition, when it comes to your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey, EL Matador has something for you.

Women's KickBoxing for Fitness
with KickFit Haven


KickFit Haven is an exclusive program designed to create a safe space for all women to train, in a comfortable and supportive environment. Founded and coached by Kat (a long term member of El Matador Martial Arts), KickFit Haven is intended to allow it's clients to practice Martial Arts and Fitness at their own pace, in a place that is free from the judgement and intimidation of other commercial establishments. This program is not limited to KickBoxing, but also includes bootcamps and functional fitness training for cardio, strength and conditioning. KickFit Haven is suited for all women of any fitness level who want to learn some self defence and train in a fun and friendly establishment, where your training partners become your friends.
